I do most of my work right at your computer, whether at your house or at your business.


You won’t need to unplug all the cables, pull the computer out, figure out what you should bring, drag it all down to some shop, pay huge dollars (store upkeep is expensive!), bring it all back, put it in place and pray you remember where all those cables plugged into! And then, after all that is done, to find out the problem is still there because it was something else like a modem, or maybe the problem “fixed” and then “unfixed” itself during transit!


Just call me and I’ll come by and fix it.


I charge a service call fee along with an hourly fee. There is a one hour minimum. After that, I charge in fifteen minute increments. Obviously this is for local service area calls, roughly translating to city limits. After that, I charge a dollar a mile beyond.


When we talk on the phone I’ll start sizing up your situation to determine whether it warrants a service call. If it does, I try to have a good estimate of the total time it will take within about 20 minutes of arrival.


In some rare cases I might want to take the computer back with me if special equipment is necessary.


One thing you must always keep in mind is that I’m working for YOU. Nobody else. I’m your IT guy and I’m not making money selling you anything but my time. i want you to be happy and you can be assured your privacy and data integrity is my highest priority.
